Read the extract from Fergus Crane by Paul Stewart on Wordsmith. Can you make predictions based on what you've read? Who do you think Fergus Crane is? Why is he making this journey? Is he in an imaginary or real world? Then focusing on the key elements in Fergus Crane and The Spiderwick Chronicles can you find any similarities and differences between the two texts? This is another text that will give you ideas for your episode for The Spiderwick Chronicles.

Also on Wednesdays we learn about Shape , Space and Data Handling. Now we are learning about Measurement, beginning with Time. Can you tell us what you know already?

Year 4 we are learning about Living Things in Their Habitats in Science and classifying is a way of grouping animals according to similar characteristics. It helps us identify and name all animals on earth.

Can you research about Classification Keys? BBC Bitesize Science has some good information.

For this week and next it would be great to see some your interpretations of a Sonia Delauney or Robert Delauney (her husband) Art Piece. There are examples on Twinkl. Also can you draw some diagrams of common equivalent fractions today? That is what is an equivalent fraction to a half, quarter or three quarters? Is it two eighths or five tenths? Please share them on Google slides!
