Good morning everyone and welcome to Wednesday's activities.
Mini Maths
Let's start the day with a number song about cars.
Say the number names in the song.
Challenge- Go on a number hunt around your house and find how many different places you can find numbers in your home.
Do you have a clock? TV remote? measuring jug?
You could ask your child to write the numbers in a line:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 (or you could write them for your child).
Then put your numberline on a wall/ door/ fridge, where your child can easily see it.
Language and Literacy
Listen to the story of 'The Duck in the Truck', below.
Whilst reading, listen for the words that rhyme, eg. duck - truck,
stuck - muck, down - brown, bush - push etc.
Enjoy the rest of your day and , if you have time, listen to the story of 'The Duck in the Truck', again.
It is one of my favourite books to share with children and gets better each time you read it.
