Challenge – Hide a shape under a cover and describe it to your child. See if they can guess what the shape is; for example- it has four straight sides which are all the same size - square
It has a curved edge and goes round and round - circle
It has 2 long sides and 2 short sides – rectangle
It has 3 sides - triangle
