EAD
Expressive Arts and Design in Early Years is all about creativity, imagination and exploration. When visitors step into our EYFS environment, they will see children experimenting, inventing and expressing themselves in ways that reflect key Development Matters guidance.
Open‑ended creative exploration — children mixing colours, using a range of tools, and exploring materials freely to discover what they can do.
Imaginative role play — developing storylines, taking on characters and using props to bring ideas to life.
Music and movement — singing familiar songs, exploring instruments, and moving expressively to rhythms and sounds.
Designing and making — building models, joining materials, and talking about their creations with pride.
