Fun-day Focus

Make-it Monday

We will be exploring colour today.

Children will be creating their own colourful pictures/ patterns, using coloured paper pieces and glue-stick.

We will encourage children to use a variety of colours in their paper collage.

Taste-it Tuesday

To fit in with our topic on 'Colour' this week, the children will be making fruit salad today.

  • They will choose from a selection of different colour fruits including strawberries, tangerines, apple, kiwi.
  • They will put their chosen fruit into their own bowl.
  • Next, they will pour on a small amount of orange juice.
  • Stir gently with a spoon and eat.

Wiggle Wednesday

Moving to music is lots of fun and great for developing physical skills, strength and stamina.

It also helps boost confidence as well as helping us to feel good, so lets all dance and move together:

Thrilling Thursday

Today's thrill is to mix colours!

You will need some paper, paints and a salad spinner.

(If you have no squeezy paints, try using some different coloured sauces!)

Funky Friday

This week we're going to have more fun  moving to the beat with scarves!

This is a song we know from nursery!

These are more fun activities with scarves!
