Phonics Time

If your child is confident recognising all of the set 1 sounds, and can read words such as ship, king, bat, and clap, without any support, then click on the set 2 sounds icon.

PE Time

Now, it is time for another yoga adventure! Today, we will be following a story called 'Squish the Fish'.

Maths Time
Let's start today's Maths activity by counting in 10's, all the way to 100.

  Parents: If your child needs support, say the number and ask them to repeat after you.

Super counting!   This week, we are going to revisit 2D and 3D shapes. Today, we are going to continue learning about 'flat' 2D shapes, so switch your shape brains on. First, tell a grown up the names of the 2D shapes you can see below. 

Super Challenge Time:

Today's super challenge is to look for 'flat' 2D shapes around your home. 

1. Can you find a triangle? a square? a rectangle? a circle?

2. What shape are the windows?

3. What shape is a clock?

4. What shape is your front door?

5. What shape are the light switches?

Super Super Challenge Time:
If your brain is up for a super super challenge today, draw, and then continue the 2D shape patterns you can see below. Complete this activity in your busy books. 

Story Time

Today's story is called 'Zog.' Zog, a dragon, is always getting himself in to a big mess! He just wants to do well in Dragon School but nothing seems to go right for him. Is there anyone who can help Zog be a better dragon? To listen to this fantastic story click on the link below.
