We have be learning about 'Dreams and Goals' in Year 2.
2C show cased their learning with an assembly for KS1 and a visit to Reception.
First we shared a story about ant's working together to move a watermelon when no other insect has been able to move it along. This opened up a lot of interesting discussion for us, for example: team work, planning, perseverance, pride, barriers, aspirations and self belief.
We know we can do anything we want to do and be anything we want to be!
The we talked about some goals we have accomplished and some dreams and goals we have for the future.
Next, we talked and sang about what we will need to succeed and achieve. We found it was very important to be open minded, independent, respectful, resilient, active, creative and forward thinking.
