Phonics Time
If your child is confident recognising all of the set 1 sounds, and can read words such as ship, king, bat, and clap, without any support, then click on the set 2 sounds icon.

Singing Time

Visit https://charanga.com/yumu/login and click on the 'Music at Home- Encore' section to sing lots of the songs we have learnt so far this year. Your log in details are included in your home learning packs.

Maths Time
Let's start today's Maths activity by singing our days of the week song.

Super singing!   Today, at Maths Time, we are going to add together two numbers, using Numicon to help us. So, switch your adding brains on. We have done the first one for you, to show you what to do.

First, write the addition sum, so the sum above shows 4 + 1 = 
Then, to find the answer, you have to use your pointy finger to count how many circles there are altogether (in both Numicon tiles). " 1, 2, 3, 4, 5".   So 4 + 1 =5 .

Now, its your turn. Write the addition sum and the answer in your busy books. 

Super Super Challenge Time:
If your brain is up for a super, super challenge today, can you add together three numbers using the Numicon to help you?    Write the addition sum and answer in your busy books.

Story Time

Today's story is called 'Cats Ahoy!' When Alfonso, the cat, hears there is a boat coming into harbour carrying its largest ever catch, he hatches a plan... It’s brave! It’s bold!
