Maths Time
Today, we are learning about addition. Remember, the symbol '+' means add.

To find the answer to the sums you could find some objects around your house to help you, like marbles. Or, in your busy work books you could draw spots like this:
Can you find the answer to these sums by drawing the spots?
6 + 5 =
13 + 4 =
17 + 3 =
Want a challenge? Try and find the answers to these by putting the biggest number in your head and the smallest number onto your fingers. Then count on to find the answer.
8 + 5 =
10 + 7 =
Today's story is called 'Starry-eyed Stan.' All the sea creatures agree that Stan is the most talented singing starfish in the bay. But when danger strikes, will Stan's talent save the day?
