Polar Places
For our Polar Places topic, we discussed which materials would keep a polar explorer warm and dry. We then looked at the properties of different materials. We walked around our school and discussed what materials we could see in the environment.
We also conducted an experiment to see which material was best to mop up a puddle. We used Discovery Dog to write down what we were testing and what our predictions were. We then conducted the experiment and discussed our findings.
