0 3 7 10 6 12 15 18 20 11
Fantastic! This week, at Maths Time, we are going to learn how to tell the time.
Today, we are going to learn how to tell o'clock times, so switch your Maths brains on.
Parents: please use the picture below to explain a clock to your child.
When the minute hand is pointing to 12, we call this time o'clock. On this clock, the hour hand is pointing at the 8, and the minute hand is pointing to the 12. So, this clock is showing the time 8 o'clock.
Tell a grown up what time it is, on the clocks you can see below.
Super Challenge Time - tell a grown up the answers.
Which clock shows 2 o'clock?
Which clock shows 4 o'clock?
Which clock shows 10 o'clock?
Today's story is called 'A Squash and a Squeeze'. A little old lady lives all by herself in her house but she's not happy - it's just too small, even for one. Whatever can she do? The wise old man thinks he knows what to do, but it only seems to make things worse. To listen to today's fantastic story, click on the video below.
Tremendous busy work today Reception.
Come back tomorrow for even more busy work activities.
