Today we are continuing learning about 'What do Muslims Celebrate?' Today we are learning about Eid al-Fitr.
Eid al-Fitr (sometimes also written as Eid ul Fitr) happens at the end of Ramadan.
On this day Muslims celebrate the end of fasting and they thank God for giving them the strength and self-control to fast.
Eid is celebrated in different ways, including giving cards, sharing sweets, using henna and visiting friends and family.
Muslims often wear new clothes for this special celebration.
Look at the PowerPoint below and then design your own henna pattern for this special celebration.
