Phonics Time

Can you say these sounds?

Now, in your busy work books, practice writing the following letters:
Remember to use the rhymes to help you.

 

a - around the apple, down the leaf.

v - down a wing, up a wing.

z - Zig-zag-zig.

 

mailParents: Ask your child to write the following words in their busy work books.
Boys and girls, remember to use your 'Fred Fingers' to help you.

 

Words to write: cat, dog, chip, stop.

As a challenge, your child could write a simple sentence: stop a cat.

 

Now let's play 'Fishy Phonics'.

Read the words in the cloud and then use your fishing skills to try and catch the matching picture cards from the river.
