Celebrating Neurodiversity: Free Liverpool Event returns to The Palm house!

Families across Merseyside are invited to attend a free community event celebrating neurodiversity at the Palm House in Sefton Park on Sunday 22nd March 2026 from 11am–2pm.

Hosted by The Neurodiverse Family Support Network, the Support and Information Event is now in its fifth year and has become a great opportunity for families looking to connect with services, discover new opportunities and celebrate neurodiversity together.

The event marks the end of Neurodiversity Awareness Week and brings together local specialist support and activity providers. Giving families the opportunity to explore the range of support available locally for both children and adults.

Visitors can drop in at any time during the event, meet organisations face-to-face, ask questions, and learn more about activities, support services and community groups available across the Merseyside area. No registration is required and attendance is completely free.

Jo Galbraith, from The Neurodiverse Family Support Network, said:

“Events like this are so important because they bring everything together in one welcoming space. Families can meet the people behind local services, ask questions and discover support they might not have known existed.”

She added:

“Our aim has always been to create something positive and empowering. Neurodiversity Awareness Week is about recognising and celebrating different ways of thinking, learning and experiencing the world, and this event helps families feel connected to a wider community that understands.”

Now in its fifth year, the event continues to grow as more organisations and families come together to celebrate neurodiversity and strengthen the local support network.

Kate Martinez, Head of Visitors and Communities at Sefton Park Palm House, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to host this event at the Palm House. Creating spaces where people feel welcome, supported and connected is at the heart of what we do. Bringing families, support organisations and communities together in one place helps ensure that people know they are not alone and that support is out there.”
