We have been learning about Aboriginal Art and different aboriginal techniques. We have learned cross-hatching and pointillism, we tried our hand at these techniques using cotton buds and cocktail sticks.
We used these skills to create some fantastic rainmakers and created some wonderful 3D art.
We have been looking at sculptures by Artists such as Anthony Gormley,Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Anish Kapoor, Alexander Calder and Dale Chihuly and then we made sculptures with a simple human forms, sculptures in ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ spaces and kinetic sculptures that move in the wind,
