Super Counting!  Today, at Maths Time, we are going to continue learning about the o'clock time, so get your Maths brain's ready. First, let's play a matching game with Baby Bear. Look at the picture below, to read his instructions.

 Parents: Read each activity, and ask your child to find the correct time on the clocks below.

1. I wake up at 8 o'clock.

2. I go for a walk at 10 o'clock.

3. I have my lunch at 12 o'clock.

4. I go swimming at 4 o'clock.

5. I have a bath at 7 o'clock.

Challenge Time:
What time does Baby Bear play football?      Clue: it's the only clock that is left.

Super Challenge Time:
In your busy books, draw four clocks, like this:

Can you show the time 3 o'clock on your clock?
Can you show the time 6 o'clock on your clock?
Can you show the time 8 o'clock on your clock?
Can you show the time 10 o'clock on your clock?

Story Time

Today's storybook is called 'The Ugly Duckling.' A mother duck lays a strange looking egg... When the egg hatches, there is a strange looking duckling inside. The duckling doesn't like being different and the other ducklings don't like that he is different.. they say he is ugly .
