Today's new sound is another special friend. Remember, these sounds are special because they have two letters but only make one sound. It is the 'nk' sound

Parents: Look at the pictures below with your child. Say each object name, and ask your child to repeat the words after you.

Parents: To help your child remember the sounds tell them this story - "I think I stink." Now, look at the pictures below with your child. Point to one of the pictures, and ask your child whether it is 'nk' or 'I think I stink.' Repeat a few times, getting quicker each time.
