  • Ofsted Visit – March 2014

    Fri 03 Apr 2015

In March 2014 Ofsted agreed with us that we are a good school

The Achievement of your children is GOOD

The Quality of Teaching in your school is GOOD

The Behaviour & Safety of your children in your school is GOOD

The Leadership and management of your school is GOOD

The staff, Governors and friends are all so very proud of your school and the whole school family that we could burst!

The report gives us some advice on how we can improve even further and we thank OFSTED for that. We will continue to keep you updated about our progress but I have included below a comment that made us all proud.

“…pupils have their self esteem boosted, their worries aired and their feeling of self-esteem strengthened..”

  • Measles and Chicken Pox

    Tue 02 Dec 2014

    Just Another Reminder

As you know one of our children is receiving significant medical treatment which puts them at serious risk if exposed to measles and chicken pox.

If your child is suspected of having either let us know immediately.

Your child is not a risk whatsoever from this situation.

However the health and well-being of the child who is at risk does depend on the co-operation of all our parents.

Thanks for all your help in this matter

  • Foodbank

    Tue 28 Oct 2014

Our pupils, families and staff supported our local food bank again this year by collecting tins and dry goods that can be used for those who need it most. Foodbank is there to help families who may be experiencing short term difficulties making sure that they have enough food for their families.

CAN YOU HELP US HELP FOOD BANK OVER THIS DIFFICULT TIME OF YEAR?

  • Year 5 and 6: Colomendy 2014

    Fri 24 Oct 2014

During the first week of November, 28 children from Year 5 and Year 6 and 5 members of staff went to Colomendy, Kingswood Activty Centre in North Wales.

We had a great time, climbing trees, abseiling, Archery, jumping off massive poles (the Leap Of Faith!!), lighting fires and generally getting soaking wet.

We will be adding some photos of us enjoying ourselves and taking part in team building and confidence building activities.

We have already been to Crosby Hall Educatlawrence on tourional trust in the September  and we are going again in Spring, we are also going to Robinwood Activity Centre in the Summer. Why not ask if you can come along and join us.
