For our History topic we researched four Great Explorers: Ibn Battuta, Roald Amundsen, Helen Sharmen and Captain James Cook.
We created a time line and added all the facts that we had found in our teams. We had whole class discussions/presentations to share our facts and information and to find out out who was 'The Greatest Explorer'.
We then joined together as a Year Group and had an award ceremony where we decided Helen Sharmen would be presented with a trophy and a medal for being our Greatest Explorer.
We also discussed how we all have the potential to be Great Explorers, we can go anywhere and do anything!
