Gang Life

Year 6 have taken part in 3 afternoon sessions about Gang life .
The sessions were delivered by James Riley. He worked for 18 years within the Criminal Justice System as a Probation Officer. For the final five years James was a specialist Probation Officer working with those involved in Urban Street Gangs and Organised Crime in the Merseyside area. He received a commendation from Merseyside police .
He is passionate about educating young people to take control of their future by rejecting the gang lifestyle.
The children really enjoyed the workshops where James drew on his experience to tell the children the affect Gang life has on members and their families.
