Science

This aim of this activity is to show how the Sun’s power cannot be seen, but it can cause changes and damage things. On a sunny day place a sheet of coloured card (bright colours work best) outside on the tarmac and place different shapes on the card and leave it for the week. What do you think will happen? What will the Sun’s rays do to the card?

Can you design and make a sun safety poster – what things will keep you safer in the sun?

Sun cream, sun hat, sun glasses, shade during the hottest part of the day 11am - 3pm etc.
